What every visit includes

Comfort-first dentistry, done properly.

These are not treatments you book. They are how every appointment at Monaco Dentistry runs, whatever you are in for.

We offer complete everyday care

Exams, cleanings, digital X-rays, fillings, crowns and same-day emergencies. It is the backbone of everything else we do: regular care catches problems while they are still small, cheap and painless to fix.

We offer oral and nitrous sedation

Nitrous oxide takes the edge off within minutes and wears off before you leave. Oral sedation goes deeper for longer or surgical appointments. Either way you stay conscious and able to respond, just no longer on alert.

We offer a comfort menu

Warm blankets, noise-cancelling headphones, Netflix, a cooling neck fan and a hand signal that stops treatment immediately, every time. It is a set of choices you make, not a script we run.

We offer a relaxing environment

Quiet, warm and deliberately unhospital-like. Private treatment rooms, natural light and a calm reception, because how an appointment feels decides whether you come back.

You can be treated in your own language.

  • Hindi
  • Punjabi
  • Farsi

All four are spoken by our team, so nothing important has to be explained through a family member.

Your first visit

What happens, in order.

No surprises, no pressure, and no treatment you have not seen costed in writing first.

  1. Get in touch

Call (604) 953-9887 or send a message. If dental visits make you anxious, say so, because it changes how we plan the appointment.

  2. A full first visit

About an hour: a complete examination, digital imaging where it will change a decision, soft-tissue screening, and a conversation about what we found.

  3. A written plan

Itemised treatment with costs and your expected insurance or CDCP coverage, before anything is booked.

  4. Care at your pace

Clinically urgent work first, optional work when it suits you, and a recall interval matched to your mouth rather than a default.

Patient stories

What patients say.

The thing we hear most often is about the freezing.

“I had not seen a dentist in six years because of one bad experience. Dr. Sohi never made me feel bad about it. She made a plan and worked through it with me. The freezing genuinely did not hurt, which I did not think was possible.”
Susan M. · White Rock
“Booked one checkup for myself and ended up moving the whole family across. Everything is explained, nothing is pushed, and the office is calmer than any dental practice I have been in.”
Daniel K. · South Surrey
“I wanted my front teeth improved without it being obvious that I had anything done. That is exactly what I got, and being able to speak Punjabi with the team made the whole thing easier for my mother too.”
Priya S. · Surrey

Questions

Before you book.

Are you taking new patients?

Yes. Monaco Dentistry is welcoming new patients of every age, including families and patients who have not seen a dentist in years. Call (604) 953-9887 or send us a message and we will find you a time.

Do you accept the Canadian Dental Care Plan?

Yes. We are a CDCP provider and also work with most extended health plans, direct-billing wherever the plan permits. Bring your details to the first visit and our team will confirm your coverage before treatment is planned.

I am genuinely frightened of the dentist. What can you do?

A great deal, and it is the most ordinary request we get. You choose from a comfort menu, we agree a hand signal that stops treatment instantly, and nitrous oxide or oral sedation is available whenever you want it. You are also welcome to visit just to see the practice and meet the team, with no treatment at all.

Which languages does the team speak?

English, Hindi, Punjabi and Farsi are all spoken in the practice, so nothing important has to be explained through a family member.

Do you see dental emergencies?

Yes. Call (604) 953-9887 as early in the day as you can. We keep room for genuine emergencies such as pain, swelling, a broken tooth, or a lost filling or crown.
